It was such a pleasure having Vicky train our summer camp staff on behavior management during our summer 2014 in-service training. Not only is Vicky an engaging and energetic trainer, but she delivered realistic scenarios that the staff really understood. She provided tools and techniques for our staff, which allowed for them to work with child's behavior, in the most positive way, throughout the entire summer. Vicky did an amazing job and we would not hesitate to invite her back to future trainings! Diane Atienza, Mountain View Parks and Recreation, Palo Alto, CA

We've known and worked with Vicky Pitner here in San Francisco, CA. through weekend and summer programs for my eldest son, Jake, since 2011. From our first meeting when we met with Vicky in to discuss my son's background and needs for a summer camp, to every interaction after up until 2015, Vicky has been kind, warm, caring, and thoughtful, all the while understanding what needed to be done to help my son. She has positive strategies that bring out the BEST in kids, and she is consistent which is so important in a program for a child with special needs.
Vicky has ALWAYS had my son's best interest at heart, and strives to make every child's experience in recreational activities valuable and meaningful. She is knowledgable, communicative, collaborative, transparent, and wants each child to succeed.
I highly recommend Vicky Pitner as a recreation inclusion Consultant. Not only is she a professional, but she has become someone we relied on as well as a friend. We will miss Vicky very much.
Thank you.

We invited Vicky to present information & tools for our 300 + summer recreation staff during our 2014 in-service training. Vicky's presentation, information and suggestions to staff was invaluable, she provided easy to implement ideas and clear understanding to meet the needs for all participants on the autism spectrum.

We first met Vicky at "The Bay Area Institute" workshop event and I was able to sit in on her workshop. After this I approached her about running a similar workshop for our Summer training day. We agreed on this and the communication before and after the event were excellent. The content was very warmly received by our staff, the topic being "Four Reason Kids Act Out and How to Address Each Behavior." I spoke to our staff after the event and they thought the workshop was very useful to the field they work in. Would recommend to other organizations.

Vicky Pitner brought great energy to her training. She was able to relate to a diverse group of line staff, supervisor, and directors in one training. Her training provided a good balance of information, implementation and goal setting. The information provide was applicable access various programs and helped to address not only the behaviors of our students but also the baggage and perception that staff may carry into the work we do and how that can affect our working relationship with our youth. She has provided our team with strategies and professional development in the summer and in the after school program. Our staff gained information that was relevant to the work that they do on a daily basis. Theresa De Dios Community Program Director
